Welcome Letter from President

Dear Fellow Philoptochos Sisters and Friends of Philoptochos,

Welcome to our Metropolis of Chicago Philoptochos Website! This website would not have been possible without the generous donation of the Kulis Foundation and the foresight of our Past President Pam Argyris.  We thank them and our Website Coordinators, Pat Gerbanas and Kathy Walstrom for all their hard work and determination in seeing this to fruition.

Please use this as an easy guide for all your chapter needs. This is all about YOU, our Philoptochos Chapters that work tirelessly to continue our mission and help all those in need.

We are part of a Sisterhood of Christ, spreading the good works, empathizing and sympathizing with all those around us.

On behalf of myself and the entire Metropolis Philoptochos Board we thank you for all your efforts in making our Metropolis a constant forerunner of this Archdiocese.

Let us follow Christ’s words:  Luke 10: 27 “ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
